Background
Hailing from a smaller settlement away from most of the larger gnome dwellings, Thirteen is an oddity even among gnomes. His mannerisms differ from most gnomes and his voice seems to be a higher pitch than normal. The settlement apparently has a long list of internal laws and combat tactics, which Thirteen frequently recites. He seems to have come to the surface at the beck of his friend, the gnome known as 'Four' to see if the the Baron Lars, is still alive or has passed on from old age.
Rumors and Inuendo
Some appear to believe that the settlement he is from is too close to mind flayers, explaining his odd antics, unsure since there is not much information on where this settlement is located within the twisting caves of the Underdark.
